Description
This is the original painting titled: "Rejoice". I was commissioned to paint this piece by a private collector. We had a difference of opinion as far as he had me add the text "Happy Birthday Jesus" at the bottom and I wanted the angel holding the planet earth. I thought that it looked too much like the angel was a satellite circling the earth. I didn't want to do either but . . . the customer is always right. A few years later I repainted the piece the way I wanted to (See the painting titled: "Rejoice II". It sold within two weeks of completion.
